I do not think the spacer is included with the SAMUNG EVO, so check when buying if you choose to order that drive. Note: Your existing SATA HDD is probably a 9.5mm thick drive, while the SSD above is 7mm thick, so you may need a spacer. Note: I would probably check just to be sure that the mSATA slot is present before ordering an mSATA drive (see page 51 of the Hardware Maintenance Manual). Both will offer similar performance/speed. If you are going to replace the HDD anyway, I would probably just get a 2.5" SATA SSD, but if you want a SSD boot drive and keep your existing HDD, then go with the mSATA SSD. It looks like that model can have both an mSATA SSD and a normal HDD/SSD installed, so you can go both ways.
